You don't need an account to read Cape May Scanner. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking.

What we collect

Our server logs record your IP address, browser user agent and the referring page, for security and traffic counts, and are kept for about two weeks. We also count page visits, using a random visit ID kept in your browser for up to a day.

Settings you choose, such as a tide station or radar options, stay in your browser.

What we don't do

We don't sell what we collect or share it with advertisers.

Other sites

Some images, such as event photos and satellite imagery, load from the sites that publish them.
